Biography
Stacey L. Hudon is a Partner at Felix & Baseman, LLC. Stacey heads the firm’s family law litigation division. Stacey has been practicing law since 2010. Stacey is a strong proponent of the collaborative divorce process, but she prides herself in effectively advocating for her clients whether through settlement negotiations or in the courtroom. Stacey believes it is critical that her clients understand their rights, the legal process and the law, and she works closely with her clients to ensure that they feel as comfortable as possible throughout the entire litigation process.
Prior to starting with Felix & Baseman, Stacey was a Senior Litigation Attorney at Cordell Law, L.L.P., an associate attorney at Joryn Jenkins, P.A., and an Assistant Attorney General in the Children’s Legal Services Division of the Office of the Attorney General where she represented the State of Florida in dependency matters. Stacey also has previous litigation experience in landlord-tenant and foreclosure matters.
Stacey is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa, the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She serves on the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Stacey is also a member of several collaborative organizations, including, the Collaborative Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Next Generation Divorce, the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals (FACP), and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). Stacey is currently co-chair of Next Generation Divorce. In 2022, Stacey was honored to receive the “Member of the Year” award from Next Generation Divorce.
Stacey has authored articles in the areas of collaborative divorce and family law matters.
Stacey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Florida in 2007 and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2010.
