Mark P. Stopa

As a Client of Mark Stopa he has always done the right thing for us. Unfortunately The Bar did not allow any leniency for what could be considered a Mental Health issue. I have experienced Mark when he is trying to get his point across and in certain situations on his part he couldn't explain an iss...ue clearly enough, I could tell he would get frustrated with himself and as a result he has lashed out. But he would always calm himself down in the moment or call back with an apology. I have seen his condition worsen over the years from when I first met with him from a separate case I had in 2005. The bar should have asked for a Mental Evaluation prior to making its decision.

I hired the Stopa law firm when i was served foreclosure papers. the firm was amazing and Mr Stopa got my case dismissed.He was terrific in the court room and was what i needed to get my life back in order.He was also able to get me a meaningful loan modification which saved my family. God bless you... Mr Stopa and your firm.Kepp up the good fight.

I just came across an article written about Mark Stopa and his unethical practices. I have already contacted the writer of the article and will also contact The Bar Association. Long story short. Paid almost $3000 to a rep he send to my home in Miami. I never met Stopa nor anyone in his firm. The o...ffice that they allegedly had in Miami didn't exist. On my hearing Mr.Stopa didn't show up. I lost my apartment and all the money I paid him. I will do everything in my power to make sure I get Justice. Perhaps the Bar will tell me what he did because I was never told. I am disabled with PTSD and this ordeal caused me a great deal of grief. Stopa and his staff treated me like crap. This is only the tip of the iceberg with Stopa's unethical dealings.

For days I've been trying to decide what to say about Mr. Stopa. As a client, I've seen him in action and benefited greatly from his knowledge and expertise. It's rare for a family to feel "warm and fuzzy" about a lawyer but ours does. With all of his passion and determination, it is a given that ...opposing council will never feel that way about him. He has been our family's savior for approximately eight years. On behalf of his clients, he never gives up, he never backs down and he has no fear. Without a doubt, opposing attorneys must quake in their shoes when they find themselves facing him in court. He is absolutely in his element when in the courtroom. While in action, we felt that he could best be described as a cross between a Tasmanian Devil and a Fox. Not even the slightest detail escapes his purview. During our trial, both the Judge and the opposing council spoke of his intelligence. That's got to be an unusual occurrence in any court of law. What our family would have done without him is frighting to imagine. There are many lawyers in this world but I doubt there's another one with half as much knowledgeable in the field of foreclosure as Mr. Stopa. No matter where our paths take us in the future, we will be forever grateful for everything he has done for us.
