Biography
Sara Mieczkowski is an accomplished trial attorney with deep experience in criminal defense and government investigations in both state and federal courts. Over her career, she has tried dozens of cases to verdict—including as lead counsel in federal court—and has secured not guilty verdicts from juries as well as judgments of acquittal from judges at both the state and federal level.
She began her legal career with seven years in Florida state courts, followed by more than six years in federal court, where she represented clients in complex fraud, white-collar crimes, and high-stakes litigation involving parallel civil and criminal investigations. A graduate of Florida State University (B.A., Literature and Political Science) and Stetson University College of Law (J.D.), she was a member of Stetson’s nationally top-ranked trial team and won a national mock trial championship. Drawing on more than a decade of courtroom experience, she also advises clients in select civil matters with the same strategic focus and commitment to excellence that defines her criminal practice.
