Divorce Proceeding

I was recommended to The Divorce Center by an acquaintance of mine and was so happy she did. After going to a dozen other attorneys for a consult I was confused and frightened of what was ahead. Jeana Vogel was informative and supportive during the most difficult time of my life. Even though the divo...rce did not go as I had hoped, she was an asset to me every step of the way. I have recommended her to others in need since.

Cannot in good conscience recommend

I hired Ms. Vogel in September of 2015, many times I requested information via email and always had to send two or three more to get my one email answered. I paid for services I did not receive and requested copies of my billing statement and files and never received once they were fired. Spoke to M...r. Ayo about the situation and it went no where, they were too busy opening another office and I was nobody to them. This firm has no concern for their clients. Ms. Vogel does a lot of churning (excessive billing). I paid them over $12K and am still not even remotely done with my divorce. That is ludicrous. Ms. Vogel also had to be told many times about the timelines of my case due to her not keeping proper track of them. Information regarding my case was consistently changing due to her inability to remember the circumstances. Paperwork filed in Sarasota County also not filed correctly with the County Clerk, case sat stagnant until I called the county to find out what the problem was. Many times paperwork not reviewed and got denied due to errors. When I hired Ms. Vogel I thought I was getting a "team" (per their website) only to find out I was getting an overworked attorney and a one woman show. I would definitely not recommend the use of this firm.

Powerful, Tenacious, Intelligent!!!!

After two years with my original divorce attorney who was clearly not capable of handling my case, I fired her, did some research and found Jeana and WOW what a difference. We met at her office for a consultation and explained to her where my case currently stood. In hearing what she had to say, I fe...lt a lot better about my divorce. Her experience and knowledge was clearly evident and she became my new attorney. I had to go back to court several more times but defiantly felt better about my case. In court, Jeana was professional, knowledgeable and did not back down, unlike my first attorney, and was able to get rulings in our favor. This was amazing; I finally had some faith in the court system. I have had attorneys in the past, but Jeana is truly different. She always took the time to explain to me the legal process, our game plan and always did her best to get the outcome we needed. I am truly thankful she was my attorney; she went above and beyond for me and truly cared about what I was going through. I highly recommend Jeana Vogel for a family law attorney.
