Disgusted!

We wasted $32,000 with this firm. We hired Ayo and Iken in December of 2021 to assist us in a child support re-evaluation and custody revision case with my husband’s ex-wife. We found Ayo and Iken online and signed up for a phone consultation with one of their attorneys via their website. We were con...tacted by one of their attorneys. We sketched the details of our situation and asked if we had a case, which he thought we did. One of the biggest concerns we had was that we live in North Carolina, and this case will have to be handled in Florida, which is where Ayo and Iken practices law. We informed the attorney where my ex-wife lived, Walton County, Florida, and that did not appear to be an issue. Fast forward almost two years and $32,000 later. The day before we were set to go to trial in Walton County, our attorney fell ill and was deemed unable to return to practice law. We were informed by Ayo and Iken of this situation via email. They sent us a letter stating they had replacement attorneys to assign to all of the original attorney’s cases, and that the firm would cover all of the costs to get the new attorney “up to speed” in the case. In this letter they also stated we could choose to go to another law firm if we didn’t want to remain with Ayo and Iken. We had questions and wanted to speak to the new attorney that was assigned to our case before we committed either way. Two days later we received via email a copy of a motion to withdraw as our counsel that was filed with the court! This firm took $32,000 from us and backed out on us just before this was set to go to trial. Ayo and Iken advertise their services all over the state of Florida (myfloridalaw.com), but when it was going to cost them money from their own pocket, they suddenly did not have an attorney who was able to try a in Walton County. We were aware we were going to be paying for the rest of the trial and associated activities. We have since had to hire a new attorney to finish our case. We will be paying our new attorney to review two years of work that has been done up until this point in addition to any new work that he deems necessary to move forward with the case. Not only did we get zero resolution with Ayo and Iken on our case, but they also appear to have no empathy whatsoever. Thirty-two thousand dollars may not be a lot of money to the firm of Ayo and Iken, but it is a lot of money to us. My husband is a retired disabled Army veteran and I a medically retired law enforcement officer. We never expected to get all our money back as some of it was earned, but some of the money would have been helpful in paying the new attorney to finish a job that should have been the responsibility of Ayo and Iken. We paid the firm $5,000 less than one month before they dropped us, and we did not get a dime of that money back. The biggest point of contention for us is the blatant disregard for a commitment made to us. My Ayo called my husband and was so disingenuous and condescending that I could hear it when they were talking over the phone. At this point they are not returning our phone calls and are treating us like we did something wrong when we did not. I wish I had never hired this firm to handle our case. It has been the biggest waste of money, very stressful, and disappointing.

Great Law Firm

We hired this law firm to represent us in a custody battle a couple years ago and have been dealing with a great attorney, Kristal Knox. Ms. Knox had to leave the case temporary therefore another attorney from Ayo & Iken had to step in and represent us in court (which we where more than happy with h...er services). Shortly after the successful results from that hearing. Mr. Ayo contacts me himself, just to ask if we were happy thus far with the services we've received from his law firm. That is unheard of and is the definition of customer service going above and beyond. From the paralegals, attorneys, and the managing partner of this law firm. We have received nothing but the best services we could ask for from a law firm. Constant communication and great professionalism with positive results. It is what is expected from only a great law firm. Thank you, to the whole team at Ayo & Iken!

Thank you

My name is John. I have a very difficult case. My wife left me and took our 4 yr old daughter with her out of Florida without telling me where they were or letting me speak or see my daughter for 7 weeks. My wife is only here on a fiancée visa that is expired which makes our case more difficult. ...I called many attorneys that said they couldn’t take my case. Many of them told me to contact Ayo and Iken Plc. The reason many of these other attorneys said they couldn’t take my case is because my case involved paternity issues, immigration issues, and family law they felt they could not handle. I called an immigration attorney and he told me that he would call Mr. Ayo to have Mr. Ayo contact me. Mr. Ayo contacted me immediately and he and I spoke of my legal matters. Mr. Ayo told me I had a complicated case but he didn’t say no or turn me away. He told me that he and his legal team would start that weekend on my case. That Monday (4 days later) after Mr. Ayo and I spoke he called me to tell me what all he needed from me to move forward with my case. I finally felt someone is there for me and my daughter. I was introduced to Atty. Vogel who I would be working with directly. I received only a few days later ordering that my daughter cannot leave the USA and that my daughter’s passport was suspended pending a hearing that was to take place in less than a week. We appeared in court and I was blown away by what all Mr. Ayo, Ms. Vogel, and the rest of their team had done. Ms. Vogel was with me at the hearing and she was amazing. She presented evidence against my wife and much in my favor to the court. Ms. Vogel is so knowledgeable in her field of law that I can only say she is amazing. She presented to the judge in such a professional manner. Ms. Vogel was so prepared for my case that my wife didn’t know what was happening. When the hearing was coming to an end the judge made his ruling ending the paternity issues, giving me 60% time sharing, ordering my daughter to be returning to her VPK school, and making it clear that my daughter will stay in Florida. I am so glad of the outcome. From the day I spoke with Mr. Ayo up through now, Mr. Ayo, Ms. Vogel and the rest of their team has been there for my daughter and me. I am so happy for everything they all have done for us. I know we have more to do with my case but I am very confident that I hired the best to handle my case. They are all very professional, very knowledgeable, very supportive, and most importantly is they all care about their clients. I have felt every time I speak with any of the law team that they care about me and my daughter and that they will do everything they can do help us. I feel that saying thank you is not enough for them all. I will thank them over and over for everything they have done and are doing for my daughter and me. I will recommend Ayo and Iken Plc to anyone that needs an attorney. Thank you Atty. Ayo, thank you Atty. Vogel, and thank you to the Ayo and Iken Plc law firm.
