Michael England

My name is Michael England and I am attorney practicing Social Security Disability law in the Tampa Bay area.  I have lived in the local community for most of my life and I was born at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida many years ago.

I am a graduate of both the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law.  Prior to embarking upon a second career in law, I worked within the local healthcare industry for over 15 years.  I enjoyed being able to help patients overcome physical inuries and return to a normal, non-limited life.  My compassion and desire to help others in their time of need is something I have brought with me into my current profession.

I am a  veteran and I served in the United States Naval Reserve for almost 8 years as a Hospital Corpsman prior to my Honorable Discharge in 1993.  My adult life has always been consistently directed towards helping others and that can be classified as my "mission statement."

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and as time permits competing in local athletic events such as the Tough Mudder (2011) and Savage Race (3 time competitor/ finisher).
