Biography
Mark S. Roman is a leading personal injury lawyer and the founding attorney of Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers in Clearwater, FL . Mark founded the firm in 1996 to help injury victims in Tampa Bay rebuild their lives after an accident. Since then, he has led the firm in recovering over $200 million for injury victims in Florida. He heads a team with over 60 years of combined experience in personal injury law.
Always seeking new ways to help his clients, Mark has earned his Board Certification in Civil Trial Law from the Florida Bar. Less than two percent of Florida attorneys are board-certified. Mark also has been recognized with numerous other professional distinctions, including membership in the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, inclusion in Tampa Bay Magazine’s list of “Top Lawyers,” and a rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell.
Mark handles all types of negligence claims, including those involving car accidents, truck accidents, slip & falls, bicycle accidents, brain injuries, and wrongful death. He is a member of the Florida Bar and licensed to practice in courts throughout the state.
Mark obtained his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida in 1981. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 1986. An active member of the legal community, Mark has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Pinellas County and was recently the Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee in Pasco County.
