You simply can't realize how RIGHT everything that Laurie does until you've been to a lawyer who's done it all wrong. I came to Laurie to assemble a new estate plan after a change in my life. By leaps and bounds, I was so impressed by her passion for what she does, and more especially, her command of...

I am a New Yorker who was appointed executor in my sister's will... she was a Tampa resident. Needless to say, this responsibility was made even more difficult due to the distance involved. Knowing nothing about the Tampa area, I selected Ms. Ohall to assist with probate based upon a friend's recom...

We worked with Laurie Ohall on our living trust and she did an outstanding job - from start to finish. She was very professional and thorough. We would highly recommend Laurie to anyone needing assistance with elder law or estate planning.

I first had contact with Laurie Ohall in July 2015. My Mom was ill and in need of legal representation. Laurie understood the nature of her problem and mapped out a course to preserve her assets and to also obtain Medicaid to help with the expense of rehab and then Assisted Living. Her plan proved to...

I am amazed at the amount of energy she puts into her practice, especially in terms of education for herself as well as for others (such as a frequent newsletters). Admonishment issued in FL, 2005
updated on 03/10/2011An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I have never had a client complain about me to the Florida or Ohio Bar. This admonishment was due to brochure I sent to potential clients prior to 2005 that was inadvertently not submitted to the FL Bar for approval and which was missing the word "advertisement" on the inside of the brochure. I paid a fine for the failure to submit. The Florida Bar also felt that the brochure had language creating "unjustified expectations" for which I strongly disagreed.”
