Roger P. Foley

Rather its your first time or your last, Roger Foley and his office will lead you the right until your case is either dropped or reduced to almost nothing. He's made me ( as my first ever time in trouble with the law) feel at ease with everything that was going on. Within a few weeks, i got news that... my case was dropped. OH! Did I mention the amazing prices and arrangements(if need be). Overall, Mr.Foley is the best and will treat you the best; Caucasian or not.

On january 7th 2014 i was leaving a crossfit gym in pompano beach and bumped a parked car that was too close to my truck, the crossfit class was finishing up there W.O.D (workout of the day) outside in the rear of the gym. I straightened my truck out and proceeded to drive to the back of the building... to inform the owner of the vehicle when i was pulled over by a police officer that was parked across the street doing surveilance work. He didn't believe i was looking for the owner and made me get out of my truck and locked me in the back of his police car while he did his investigation, after waiting for a long time in the back of the police car i was asked to get out by a DUI investigator. The officer was the biggest jerk i had ever met in my life, i told him i had 2 drinks with some co workers after work around 4 o'clock, it was now 830 at night. He asked me if i would be willing to do a roadside sobriety test, after performing a pretty much perfect test he still arrested me for DUI and leaving the scene. I refused the breathalizer and i spent the night in broward county jail and was released in the morning. As soon as i was released i turned on my phone and started searching for dui lawyers, i googled top dui attorneys in broward county and Roger P Foley popped up every time. I called Mr. Foley that afternoon and was sitting in his office the next day. My first impression of Roger was this guy means buisness, he's tall, well dressed and talks with authority, he knew DUI laws inside out. I thought to myself, if i wanted a chance to get out of this situation, this was the guy i needed on my side. We discussed his fees, and he was nice enough to work out an easy payment plan for me. Before i left his office i asked him how long would this case take from beginning to end? he said about 12 months. Mr Foley got right to business, he ordered my DUI video, police report and a copy of the radio conversations with the aressting officers. After getting a depostion from the officers he scheduled a meeting for me and him to sit down and discuss a strategy for my case. We discussed all the factors and reviewed my dui video and agreed that this was a case that needed to taken to trial. Days before my trial date Mr Foley contacted the district attorney and asked her to review my case and video, after looking it over she offered me a plea, part of the plea barging included probation. I asked Roger if he thought i should take the plea, and he said you have a strong case, if it was me i wouldn't. After another couple weeks of negotiating back and forth with the district attorney and her supervisor, i was sitting in a courtroom with a motion to supress. When Mr Foley speaks on your behalf he amediatley takes control of the court room, i could tell he really intimedated the arresting officers. After 3 long hours in the court room i was denied my motion to supress evidence. Mr Foley insisted that my trial be reset and he be given time to find a case that mirrored mine where that case was won. 3 weeks later i was back in the court room, the district attorney knew Mr Foley had a strong case, so i was offered another plea. I was originally charged with a DUI, leaving the scene, and improper backing. I accepted a plea of reckless driving with adjudication with held, leaving the scene with adjudication with held, and my improper backing fine just disappeared. I received no jail time, no probation, no suspension on my license, i just received court costs.Mr Foley and i agreed that this was a win! He said i haven't seen a plea offered to anyone with a dui case that was so lenient in 10 years. My case was over in only 10 months. I know i made the right decision in hiring Roger P Foley as my dui attorney, i would recommend him to anyone with a criminal or misdemeanor case.

I started with another attorney who was obviously in it for the money. I was referred to Mr. Foley by a friend. From the beginnng Mr. Foley was honest. He listened to my lifestyle and did not judge me. He was realistic about the case. He made a payment plan that was easy and convenient for my ...income. It took a while for the process but it gave me a better outcome then I think I would have had. I was offerred jail time because I had previous charges and I ended up getting probation and my record will still be able to be sealed when its over. I would recommend The Law Office of Roger P. Roger represented me 6 months ago on a possession charge and the result was better than expected. He always was there for advice and counsel even on weekends . I called him today five o'clock on Saturday for advice on a probation violation and he talked to me about my options . He even offered to rep...resent me if needed with no money up front if I was financially struggling. And we could come up with payment options later. Basically what I'm saying is that foley is down to earth and straight up. He honestly listens and cares about his work. I'm the type of person that wouldn't take the time to write a review if I wasn't truly impressed with someone or something. Thanks Roger for everything!!!!

One night I was celebrating my birthday and was driving home around 12pm near turnpike. I was going a few miles over speed limit and was pulled over. They asked me if I had anything to drink but never asked over how long a period. I had drank 4-5 beers 6 hour period. As i exited the vehicle i nee...ded my cane because of a full hip replacement and the officers said sure. Then he asked me to do exercises but I said i was unable. He just said I needed to do them. He never said he would modify but considered it a refusal of the exercises. I told him I would give a breath. Police officer was rude discourteous and not willing to look at fact that I had an impairment. I was arrested and taken to substation and my breath was .199. I knew there was no way that i could blow that high after only having 4-5 beers over a 5-6 hour period. Then I went to main jail. It was horrible because i am diabetic and they took my cane so I could not walk. They then transferred me to med wing. I found Mr. Foley from Steve at the bailbonds office. I met with Attorney RP Foley and was put at ease. Foley also made me a payment plan because I could not afford fees upfront. When I asked him questions he knew all the answers so I felt confident. Although I was confident in foley as time went by I became nervous of what would happen and then the state came with their deal. That was very stressful because they were throwing the book at me and there was no deal. After talking with Lawyer Foley, he said " although I can't guarantee you anything- I am very confident in my ability to win this case and if I did not think I could win I would not blow smoke up your A$$." He came at me straight- not with legal mumbo jumbo and used examples on how he would fight and his strategy. Court date, after court date, I just wanted to be done worrying about it. Finally on my day of court- I never saw Mr. Foley argue befoore but it was obvious that he did his home work. He was very aggressive like a DOG WITH A BONE. HE would not give it up. The state was so confused by Mr. Foley's argument. He had the judge arguing with the state going< " i never thought about that state but Mr. Foley is right who is she do certify the machine do we even know if she is certified? WHy is she signing it?" and the state was lost. The Judge initially ruled against us and even found that the cops were lying and Foley proved it with his research but the judge did not agree at first. I was so confused because he proved it was a lie- I could feel his confidence and then Foley argued for another 11/2 after she ruled against him. For her to let Foley to continue arguing after she had meade her ruling I thought maybe she ws starting to get his argument. She allowed him 48 hours to draft a memorandum about the eye test and how it could not establish a reason for police to arrest me. He said that the case law was against what the judge was saying but she wanted a case from 17th judicial circuit. He did his research and filed documents she wanted. Mr. Foley called me three weeks later and asked if I wanted the good news or the bad news. I took the bad news and he said your date has been changed again. SO whats the good news, I asked and he said that she changed her mind and granted our motion. We won! I was not sure if everything was thrown out but it all got dismissed and the state decided not to appeal the judge. Iwould recommend Mr. Foley in a heartbeat for any criminal case in Florida. I have had other criminal attorneys in the past but Attorney RP Foley is hands down the best I have ever had.
