I've had a trademark for 20 years and easily renewed it myself a few times. Suddenly, this year, the USPTO examiner declared I was missing examples! For six months I worried about what to do but had to focus on my company. We are opening a restaurant and independently filed a trademark to protect our business name and logo. After a about 5 months, we received a refusal for trademark from the US Trademark Office.
