Michael J. Fischetti

Mr. Fischetti grew up in a small town called Honeoye Falls, in Western NY. For his undergraduate he went to SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in Political Science, Criminal Justice and Sociology. During his time at Plattsburgh he founded the local chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma. He was also a member of: Phi Eta Sigma (Freshman Academic Honor Society), Omicron Delta Kappa (Academic Honor Society), Alpha Kappa Delta (International Sociology Honor Society), and Order of Omega (Inter-fraternity Honor Society). At the same time, Mr. Fischetti was a Resident Assistant as well as one of 20 Student Ambassadors for the university.

After graduating, Mr. Fischetti attended Shepard Broad Law School at Nova Southeastern University. While in Law School he was chosen to be a member of ATLA (Association of Trial Lawyers of American - Trial Team) and was also a founding member of the Delta Theta Phi. He participated in the Summer Judicial Clerk program and in his last semester he was already a Certified Legal Intern at the Broward County Public Defenders where he was allowed to trial misdemeanor cases while still in law school.

While in Public Defender’s Office he was lead attorney in every misdemeanor division in Broward County Central Courthouse, brining the Public Defenders to the North Satellite Courthouse in Broward County. He handled felony Juvenile Cases and assisted in a variety of Jimmy Ryce Defense cases. All of those achievements helped him receive the best Advocate award at the 2005 Winter Public Defender College.

After leaving the Public Defender’s office in 2006, he practiced in civil litigation specializing in insurance litigation handling over 10,000 cases for his clients and collecting excess of $30 million dollars for his clients. Previous and current areas of law of his focus are Personal Injury, Foreclosure Defense, PIP litigation, Estate Planning and Assist Protection.
Before opening my law firm in 2016 I was a named partner at my previous firm after starting the Broward Office from scratch for my firm and achieving partner in just two short years.

Fischetti’s first and most important approach with clients is communication, as listening to a client's needs and goals for a specific legal problem is the key to success.
