I read the negative reviews about this lawyer. I advised my friend not to hire this firm or attorney because of the negative reviews. The reviews are accurate; they take forever to communicate, so they run up the bill while reviewing and strategizing. When you send emails, they never respond. This at...torney is not a litigator or have any idea how to handle a condominium case. They also hold a deposit, so when you're unhappy and fire them, they still get paid. Hello, I am an Air Force veteran with over 22 years of service. Intergrity ranks at the top of my priority list. I hired this firm to sue my HOA and also my neighbor. David and Michele were assigned to my cases. This was a difficult experience from the very beginning. My neighbor filed a friv...olous lawsuit against me. LS carlson law assured that they could get this thrown out because it wasn't valid. They didn't even attempt. I went to court and won. However, this case should have never happened . This cost me over 10K in attorney fees . On another occurrence, I sued my neighbor because of harrassment in small claims court. I originally was per se . My neighbor got a lawyer and filed a motion to dismiss. I obtained representation from CS Law. I asked the attorney to dismiss without prejudice because of new developments in the case. Particularly the judge allowed the filing even though it was filed after the deadline. My attorney assured me that I'm in the right court and that she would request to ammend the cause of action. The attorney got sick and was unable to execute her request. She told me not to worry, she could ask in the upcoming Motion to dismiss case. This was a zoom hearing and she advised me not to attend. She said it was betweenthe lawyers. I followed her direction. Later, I received a call from the lawyer in panic. It appears, my neighbor did attend, she was allowed to testify, and the judge allowed them to show videos of me in the privacy of my home for over an hour. This whole this cost another $9k. I was furious! I demanded they honor my original request to dismiss without prejudice. We had to challenge them on several invoices. They were charging us for work not done. We brought this to their attention they acknowledge however, wouldn't give us a refund. Our HOA refused mediation, LS carlson wasn't ready to litigate and kept trying to drag it out to make more money and charge more legal fees. I was forced to fire them because they started ignoring us. After I fired them, I asked for a refund. They denied, so I started collecting evidence. Upon taking a closer look at the invoices, I noticed that this firm charged my HOA for my neighbor's matter to beef up invoices because I requested for my HOA to pay my attorney fees and court costs. I contacted my bank and challenged the charges because I can't be associated with anyone unethical. I'm so glad that we caught this. It would have caused us to lose my case and also opened up a possible criminal lawsuit due to fraud. I tried to discuss before elevation but LS Carlson, Jeff only wanted to discuss off the record.
