Jeffrey Bennett Cohen

I hired Mr. Cohen. He was or seemed to be pleasant to me at first until i advised him i had bipolar disorder. He then did not communicate at all. I did try to explain to him that i had no control over going off topic that it was part of disorder but he did not work with me, just stopped communicat...ing and said if i needed anything to email his paralegal. It was a pretty (or i thought it was ) easy case. I fell at work and sustained a very serious injury. The company did not provide me with a dr for over a month. At what i was told was the first mediation via phone, Mr. Cohen seemed like he was on the side of the insurance company and not working for me. I don't know how else to word it any nice for Avvo. If you need an attorney that communicates with you and explains things to you but lets you ask the questions you have, then you do not not want this attorney. He does not do that. The mediation was no sooner completed and even though on the phone he stated he would be filing for addl petitions, he instead withdrew from the case. That is a fact.
