I have come to believe that life is about challenge. Successful people look for challenge. Unsuccessful people shrink from challenge. The fact is that most attorneys handle the same type of cases over and over again - names and places being carefully deleted and added as the need arises. No question that by doing so, you can get pretty good at the "same old, same old." On the other hand, who wants to spend 25 years handling the same cases over and over again and never adding to your experience?
In my legal practice, I have sought out challenging, difficult cases. That's a critical difference between my legal practice and most other attorneys. While my core caseload has always been and will always be corporate and business litigation, I have purposefully developed specialties in different areas of law such as bankruptcy litigation and administrative law. I have done so not ony to "spice-up" my practice, but because I know that without broad-experience and knowledge we stagnate. There's a big difference between an attorney who really has 25 years of broad experience in litigation and an attorney with 25 years of experience hanlding the same cases over and over again - essentially using the same -2 years of real experience over and over again for 23 years!
You will find that as an attorney, I do not accept the "same old, same old." I am always thinking outside of the box. That means that I must carefully listen to my client's goals. The truth is that most of the time the client's have a much better idea of what they want and need than the attorney.
That's what makes my practice different. That's who I am as a professional.

It takes a lot for me to be comfortable recommending someone!
Mr. Kranz is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. He recently helped me with several complex business legal matters. I have hired and fired many attorneys over the years, but I'd highly recommend Alex as your next and last business attorney.
