This was a horrible situation, I found myself in a white collar crime situation and I have never had more than a speeding ticket! We called after our son was arrested for a crime he committed nearly 9 months earlier. We received a return call in minutes and Matt was able to visit our son a few hours later after finishing representing other clients in court. Our son was distraught and frightened and Matt was very reassuring an...d supportive. This was a difficult case in that the prosecutor was extremely busy and not responsive to Matt's inquiries. Matt was very persistent in that he sent 17 emails and made numerous phone calls to the prosecutor in order to work out an agreement. We were extremely pleased with Matt's responsiveness, his knowledge of the law, his patience and especially his skill as an attorney. We are not sure our son would have had the same favorable outcome with another attorney. He now has a second chance in life! We would highly recommend Matt Shafran as an attorney.
