Matt was extremely easy to communicate with from the consultation up until the successful conclusion of my hearing. Matt also kept a positive outlook on my situation and helped me remain in good spirits throughout the entire ordeal. Matthew Shafran was excellent from our very first consultation. I was severely anxious about my situation and unfamiliarity with the legal process, but Matthew’s communication, guidance, and sincerity alleviated a lot of my unease. Matthew helped us through a long process, we were stuck, held hostage by a system that truly falls short when it comes to patient rights. I’m still baffled how a medical professional (term used loosely) can influence so many, manipulate and down right lie. We found ourselves against all odds. I am no...t saying my child didn’t have a breakdown. What I will say is that if I was in so much abdominal pain, had heart issues and was going to be strapped down, my rights taken away, held hostage for 10 days, I and no one I know could have maintained a even a small sense of sanity. But she did. Matthew and his team made calls and were very persistent. In this hour of need and when this “medical professional” used his last Ace card and had my daughter transferred 80 miles south, Matthew came in hard and strong. He didn’t stop. We were at the end, faith gone and finances near depletion; we held on one more day, we had faith one more time and Matthew was successful. I pray no one has to ever go through this, but if so I give my strongest recomendation to Matthew to help pull you and your family through this. A truly wonderful Man. Thank you.
