I have to commend Matthew for the care and amazing service he provided me at a time that was needed most. I had a son that committed suicide two years ago. This year my eldest daughter while drunk from a night out tried to follow his footsteps. I stepped in and prevented it but due to her stupor ende...d with the police in my home. They arrested me even though all I was doing is trying to stop her from suicide. Upon hearing my case Matthew went into action and prevented a travesty of the law by getting the case thrown out of court. Matthew was always there checking on me and letting me know he was on the case and to not worry that he was on my side. He was extremely concerned and tenacious in getting my case seen and thrown out to prevent any further damage to my family. I can honestly say he was a god send in a time of despair. If you need someone that will give it his all to help you navigate thru maze of law. Matthew is the man to do it. I have full confidence in his abilities and his determination. He is one in a million. Thank you Matthew.

I hired Mr. Shafran for a case of mine and put all my trust into him to defend me. His words sounded wise and he made me feel like I was in good hands. I assisted him with the case as well as far as putting together documents and information to show more of the truth that I had to prove to the courts.... Mr. Shafran came at me many times asking for me to plea out, but I never did because I was truly innocent in this matter. So if I carry no sense of guilt why should I take any offer? I knew enough about the situation to believe that the truth would set me free. It was a cut and dry case. In the end we went to trial and at trial he forgot so many things to introduce to the court that would had helped in my favor. I’ll never forget that day the verdict came back. GUILTY I’m leaving this review for whomever is searching for attorney. So I’m sure just like with any attorney, they will say whatever you want to hear. Well this is one of those attorneys. After $15,000 spent and a cut and dry case that should had had me going home for dinner, I went to prison. So don’t think just because you drop a good chunk of money with someone you’ll get better results. I’m pretty sure a public defender would had done a better job than how this attorney represented me. Good luck to all that are in their search for representation and I wish the most favorable outcomes for your situations. But in my opinion, keep looking: this isn’t the one. Much love to all.
