Will not recommend to my enemies.
Was referred to this firm by another attorney to a specific lady lawyer. Not sure how ,but my case ended up with Charles Wade. They never told me she is no longer with the firm. So long story short- this guy was pushy, pressing and rude. My estimated amount got reduced 3 times and then without my ex...
I am sorry you did not have a good experience but I want to make sure you and the people reading this realize why. Because we have a great reputation, another attorney referred you to our firm. You did speak to all of our attorneys at the firm including me and both attorneys you referenced above. All of our attorneys have been with the firm for many years and remain with the firm. Our clients have access to all the attorneys. I have been practicing workers compensation for over 22 years. We always recommend hiring an attorney as soon as the accident happens. It is extremely important to continue to get medical treatment though out the life of your claim. When you have gaps in medical treatment, the insurance companies will look and usually find some other reasons to blame your current condition on something else. The workers compensation law is very difficult and is not fair. If clients hire us well after the accident, we can not change the past. We can try to use the past to plan the future and try to get the best outcome. Sometimes that means settling your case before the insurance company finds a reason to kill your case and give you $0.00. In this situation, you had an accident in December, 2018. However, you never hired an attorney until you hired our firm over one year and five months later in April, 2020. After you hired our firm, we immediately filed claims with the Court and got your case re-opened. Had you waited a little longer, it may have been too late and the case would have been dismissed. Our filing of the claims with the court prevented the Statute of Limitations from running and your case from being over and you getting $0.00. We eventually got you a reasonable settlement based on your circumstances in which you agreed to. As in all workers compensation cases, when we file a claim with the court, the State of Florida automatically sets a State Mediation so the parties can discuss settlement. As we do with all of clients, we set up meetings or telephone calls to prepare them mediation. If the client wants to settle then we make a demand with the insurance company and their attorney so we can try to settle the case. Whenever we get a settlement offer from the insurance company, we immediately advise our clients. We explain in great detail what it means to settle a case. We do not make the final decision to settle a case, we just give our advice and provide the client with the pros and cons of each offer. Once a client advises us to accept the offer then we notify the appropriate parties including the Judge. The insurance company prepares the settlement documents. If the client refuses to sign the settlement papers, then the attorney for the insurance company sets a Hearing to Enforce the Settlement with the Judge.

Very poor performance
I hired this firm to handle my workers comp case. And they did a poor job. If you want a hungry , ready to represent your interests attorney, this is not a people for you. They will not work in your best interest, they will get you minimum compensation. I made a mistake by hiring this people. They di...
I am sorry to hear that you felt this way. I have been handling workers compensation cases for over 20 years. This is the first negative review that we have received. Since you did not leave your name, I am not sure what the problem was with your case. Unfortunately, some cases do not always turn out the way some people would like. Many times, we give our clients advice and sometimes they do not follow our advice. One common mistake we see is when people choose to lie under oath during their deposition. We meet with every client before their deposition and prepare them for the questions, however, it is not uncommon for clients to lie or hide things about their prior accidents or injuries and this usually kills their case. We work very hard to get every medical and lost wage benefit we can get for our clients. We also try to get the highest amount of settlement.

The insurance companies paid the chiropractor his bills and pay all of the fees and costs. Our doctors never pay us any fees or costs.
We were able to get her Aid and Attendant benefits started back up and settled the case for over $500,000.
We filed an appeal, went to a Hearing, and won him his Social Security Disability benefits.
We got him extensive medical treatment, lost wages, and a very large settlement. We then helped him get Social Security Disability benefits
Although case was denied by Carrier, we were able to secure a large settlement for surviving husband.
