After getting arrested for DUI, I emailed and called nearly every criminal defense attorney in the area (probably around 25 different lawyers). Leonard was the first to call me back (literally minutes after I emailed him, on a weekend). He took the time to personally explain the situation, listen t...o all the details on my case, and overall make me feel more comfortable with exactly how all this works. After finishing our talk, he gave me a quote (which was very reasonable), and I told him I'd call him back. After that I spoke with all the other lawyers I contacted, and was shocked by the difference. The majority quoted 5-10x what Leonard did, and overall acted like they didn't care about me or the case. So I hired Leonard in the end, and couldn't be more happy with the decision. Although my case didn't qualify for the DUI diversion program, he was able to talk with the prosecutor and get the penalties reduced (even though another person, with an identical case that day ended up with much worse). After attending court with him, and getting a sentence less than I was anticipating, I couldn't have been more relieved. And I can say with 100% confidence that he is better than any of those attorneys asking for a small fortune. We hired Leonard for a felony larceny arrest. It was the first ever such crime committed in our family and he came recomended from an attorney friend. During the first 6 hours or so from the arrest, as our family was running through a gauntlet of total fear, remorse, paranoia and countless other emot...ions, Leonard was truly a rock that was there for us. He was an invaluable savior at that crucial moment.
