I was recently arrested as the result of a domestic violence incident that I myself reported to the police. Yep, I called the police about a person who was acting violently, but I was arrested for the violence! I’ve never been arrested before, and as 35-year old female, spending the night in jail ...was horrifying. I was able to bond out the next day, but I found the Public Defender’s Office to be totally unresponsive to my requests for information… I had many questions about the legal procedures and schedules, but could not get any answers. I am now getting my life back on track, and I can’t thank Ms. Earley enough for her expertise, professionalism, empathy, and confidence that “my side of the story” was truthful and my arrest was made under false statements and poor police procedures. I hired Ms. Earley to represent me in a temp injunction case for domestic violence on behalf of my daughter my ex unjustifiably raised against me. I was bared from seeing my little girl for almost 3 weeks while the temp injunction was in effect.
