Jason H. Haber grew up in South Florida and now raises a family in South Florida. He co-founded, and serves as managing partner for, the law firm of Haber Blank, LLP to provide clients innovative and efficient legal representation, seeking results suited to their unique needs. Jason's practice focuses on family and matrimonial law, real estate transactions and litigation, civil litigation, business transactions, community association law, personal injury claims, and appellate practice. Prior to forming Haber Blank, LLP, Jason operated Haber & Stief, P.A., and a solo practice, Jason H. Haber, P.A. Jason is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Florida, the United States Southern District of Florida and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since beginning the practice of law, Jason has successfully served as lead and associate counsel in several appellate cases, including Harris v. Hampton, 70 So. 3d 747 (Fla. 4th DCA 2011) and Webster v. Ocean Reef Community Ass'n, Inc., 994 So. 2d 367 (Fla. 3d DCA 2008).
Jason earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, where he also completed Master's level graduate work. During law school, Jason served as an officer of the Moot Court Society and Phi Alpha Delta. In consecutive years, Phi Alpha Delta's International Executive Board awarded Jason the Alex A. Hotchkiss Outstanding Justice Award and Frank E. Gray Outstanding Clerk Award for his contributions to the community, legal profession and law school, making Jason the second person in Phi Alpha Delta's history to receive both awards. Upon completion of law school, Jason was inducted into the Order of Barristers.
Outside of the office, Jason serves as President of the University of Miami Broward Alumni Club, on the University of Miami Alumni Council, and Phi Alpha Delta's District Justice for District XXXII and Broward County Alumni Chapter board member. Jason is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and supports Broward County's Jewish Family Services. Jason resides in Plantation, Florida with his wife, Ilea Haber, a licensed architect and interior designer and talented artist, and their daughter, Elliot. During their spare time, Jason and his family frequent local parks and museums, and enjoy traveling, attending community festivals and sporting events, particularly Miami Hurricane football games every fall.
