Biography
Brian Silber is a Fort Lauderdale trial attorney and former Broward prosecutor. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2003.
He handles:
• Criminal defense in Broward County state court and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida
• Nationwide federal civil forfeiture defense for travelers, including undeclared currency and cash seized by CBP at U.S. airports
• Federal regulatory defense nationwide and Florida administrative and licensing defense statewide
• Victim rights claims (sexual assault, premises liability, and other plaintiff side claims)
Mr. Silber began his career in 2003 at the Broward State Attorney’s Office, where he served as a special-unit prosecutor in the domestic violence trial unit, a lead felony prosecutor, and a supervisor. He opened the Law Offices of Brian Silber in 2008.
He is a two-time University of Miami graduate (B.B.A., Finance, 1999; J.D., 2002) and is admitted in Florida and in federal courts including the U.S. Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit, and the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. He is also a member of approximately 20 other federal courts across the country where he practices Civil Asset Forfeiture Defense.
He also represents victims in civil claims, including sexual assault cases and premises liability claims.
Mr. Silber is a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit and county mediator and has completed Florida Supreme Court approved arbitrator training.

A Great Lawyer
I am a past client of Mr. Silber and would highly recommend him to anyone who has a criminal case. He represented me when the police beat up my son.
