Tasha Simmonds

I'm a court reporter with a lot of experience seeing attorneys work. Unfortunately, I had to handle an issue of my own and had the honor of having Tasha Simmonds help me get through a very difficult hearing. First, she jumped in last minute to help me; and second, she was amazing!!! Between Ms. Simm...onds experience, knowledge, and her personal touch, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side. It's hard enough to have to go through anything like this, but having an attorney that you feel is not only extremely knowledgeable AND cares about you as an individual, not just as another case, makes all the difference in the world. Ayo and Iken are very fortunate to have an attorney as competent, caring and hard working as Tasha Simmonds. Grateful to have crossed paths with her. After my experience with Ms. Simmonds, as long as she's practicing law, I wouldn't consider hiring anyone else to defend me other than her. She's the real deal!

Hired Ms Simmonds to represent our company on a civil matter that was being looked at in a criminal light. She spoke with detectives and represented us well at a questioning. In and out in 5 mins with the end result being confirmed as a civil matter. We were extremely happy with how the case was h...andled and would highly recommend her firm. I retained Tasha Simmonds on short notice which was very helpful. She was able to assist me with filling out and filing the appropriate documents, as well as explain them to me and guide me through the court proceedings. She also communicated with me via text and email, as well as phone, which was v...ery beneficial to me throughout certain parts of the day. With that, I also found that there was a breakdown in communication at some times. For instance, I had scheduled a meeting with her to sign some documents, and she was 1 hour late. I did not receive any communication from her saying that she would be. Another issue I had was that prior to my first court hearing, I mentioned to her my concern of who would be allowed in the courtroom during the hearing, as I did not want any unnecessary observers to be there since this was a very private and personal matter. During my second hearing, I noticed that there were observers in the courtroom, some who were known to her. I think that she should have asked the judge to have them removed from the courtroom during my proceedings, having known how I felt about it, or at least cleared it with me first.
