I went to Lisa a few years ago after researching Chap 13 attorneys. After speaking with over 6 attorneys from Palm Beach to Miami Dade (I live in Broward), I finally decided on Lisa. Why? For a combination of reasons, some attorneys say that they were familiar with Chap 13 and after speaking with the...m it was obvious that they clearly were not. (I had done some online research). I also Googled her and liked what I had read. South Florida has many shady attorneys who will take your money, misinform the client and deliver subpar service. I actually saw this is in court one day (attorneys who represented clients who were reprimanded by the judge in court) In my Chap 13 case, she was able to quantify what I owed (and I owed a lot!) and what I would have to pay back to the Bankruptcy Court. One thing is that from the initial meeting, she set realistic expectations as what to expect. No false hopes. No sugar coating but at the same time she is kind and sympathetic. Some attorneys are cold and a matter- of-fact and after you leave their office you feel helpless. - not the case here. She will tell you what she can and cannot do for you depending on your case. I know this because I was so happy with her that I even had her taking care of my Mom's situation as well. Lisa is a Consumer Advocate and she genuinely cares for and works hard for her clients. She gets it! You see attorneys that say they will fight for you on TV? Yeah Right ! Well, she is the real deal. She actually will! What I like is that she keeps abreast of the ever-evolving Florida law. I saw her in action one day with my Mortgage Company. She is worth every penny of many sleepless nights. My only regret is (being genuinely scared) that I procrastinated before going to see her. You will not be disappointed if you hire her and her team. They are absolutely Top- Notch.

My wife and I had tried to work with our mortgage company to arrange a short sale. We had been tentatively approved but then the mortgage company became unresponsive. We did not want to file bankruptcy but my one time good credit was severely downgraded after months of no response from the mortgage c...ompany and we feared something else was going on. After speaking with Lisa and Chris McCue at McCue Law we decided bankruptcy was the best choice. Chris and Lisa and their staff helped us right along through the process. The McCue are really terrific advocates for consumers. They are extremely thorough and protective of their clients. Due to their thoroughness our court appearance was extremely short compared to other litigants whose lawyers did not have their information together. We were asked a couple of questions by the judge and we were finished within 5 minutes of the beginning our hearing. My family and I would definitely use the McCue law firm again. If you want a fantastic pair of lawyers who are absolutely thorough, truthful with their advice and protective of their clients; this is the firm for you. They really fight for their clients. Plus, their fees are extremely reasonable, they feel the client has already been through enough and don’t need to pay exorbitant costs. As a note, a month after our case hearing, we received foreclose papers. The mortgage company had been planning this the whole time and had no intention of working with us on the short sale.
