After a person hires an attorney, they ask themselves or say....did I hire the right attorney or I hope I hired the right attorney. When I hired Mr. Rossi and his firm to handle my case, I was concerned because my situation was kind of desperate, time sensitive and sure to be a losing battle. I hired Mr. Rossi on a criminal matter appeal. I was innocent but my first attorney was not proactive about the evidence against me nor was he adept at facing the determined unethical prosecutor. Mr. Rossi immediately asked questions of the prosecutor that my first attorney did not even consider. He ...also proposed several pre-trial motions that helped the case as well. Mr. Rossi meticulously reviewed all case notes, police reports, and previous hearings. During the jury selection as the prosecutor referred to her notes, Mr. Rossi already knew all of the juror's names. From his brilliant opening to his well thought out and impassioned close, Mr. Rossi demonstrated his thorough knowledge of the law, his incredible expertise at cross examination of difficult lying witnesses, and his ability to keep fighting in the face of adversity. We had over 50 pieces of evidence to support my not guilty plea and the judge let one piece into evidence. The prosecutor objected almost every time Mr. Rossi spoke. However, by the end of this most unfair trial, he was able to show that these charges were bogus and that witnesses were lying, including the police. To even the crooked judge's chagrin the jury returned a "NOT Guilty" verdict in less than 30 minutes. The audience in the courtroom that had gathered to hear Mr. Rossi's closing remarks cheered. Many said they had never seen a "NOT Guilty" verdict in Circuit Court with a determined unethical prosecutor. If you are lucky enough to retain this attorney run do not walk to his office. For the genius that this man is his fees are reasonable. He saved my life from false charges under tremendous odds and my children and I will be forever grateful. When you first contact him, be patient. He has several assistants and he will get back to you as soon as he is able. Anyone charged with a crime would be a fool not to wait the 24-48 hours it might take to speak with him.
