Mr. Lowry did his clinical work during his 3rd year of law school with the State Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale. After graduating in 2004, Mr. Lowry was hired as an assistant state attorney, where he worked for 1.5 years as a misdemeanor and felony line prosecutor. While there he prosecuted numerous DUI’s, gaining an excellent knowledge of DUI law and practice. Mr. Lowry then transferred to the State Attorney’s Office in Tampa, where he began as a juvenile division supervisor. There, Mr. Lowry represented clients facing charges ranging from DUI to homicide, often being in trial at least once a month. In 2012, Mr. Lowry opened this firm, Mark S. Lowry, LLC, again focusing on state and federal criminal defense, appeals and post-conviction matters, and civil rights.
