Mark Stephen Lowry

Mr. Lowry did his clinical work during his 3rd year of law school with the State Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale. After graduating in 2004, Mr. Lowry was hired as an assistant state attorney, where he worked for 1.5 years as a misdemeanor and felony line prosecutor. While there he prosecuted numerous DUI’s, gaining an excellent knowledge of DUI law and practice. Mr. Lowry then transferred to the State Attorney’s Office in Tampa, where he began as a juvenile division supervisor. Mr. Lowry was shortly thereafter placed as a felony trial unit prosecutor, litigating such cases as homicide, sexual battery, armed robbery, home invasion, and drug trafficking, among others.

In 2007 Mr. Lowry moved back to south Florida and opened Lowry at Law, P.A., a private law firm specializing in criminal defense, family law, appeals and civil rights. There, Mr. Lowry represented clients facing charges ranging from DUI to homicide, often being in trial at least once a month. In 2012, Mr. Lowry opened this firm, Mark S. Lowry, LLC, again focusing on state and federal criminal defense, appeals and post-conviction matters, and civil rights. From his career as both a seasoned prosecutor and private attorney, Mr. Lowry has the knowledge and experience to handle any matter that comes in the door, having tried over 60 jury trials in his career, and will handle it with professionalism and a level of attention and personal service that is unrivaled in this field.
