Biography
Albert Einstein famously said: "You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else." In keeping with this idea, I've attempted to maximize my knowledge of the rules of evidence and civil procedure, so that I can use the rules to my clients' advantage in pre-trial litigation, and anticipate and address opposing parties' arguments and objections at trial. In addition, throughout all phases of court proceedings, my practice emphasizes attention to detail, superior research and writing, and thorough and systematic preparation.
I'm a state and federal trial and appellate lawyer with a broad range of experience representing clients in business, real estate, and other civil litigation. I represent clients in "complex actions" (involving complicated legal or case management issues) where the amount in controversy exceeds $1 million, but also in routine disputes where the amount in controversy is less than $50,.
