Trust Administration consult

I had some questions regarding a family trust, so I sent over a number of documents to his office, which were promptly reviewed and commented on. I received top notch explanations of various scenarios and solutions to each. He was very courteous, yet very professionally direct, which I appreciated gr...eatly as his time is very valuable. I was provided specific explanations of advisable items to follow-up on and complete. On these items of follow-up, I now know of the importance and will proceed action upon.

Incredible Aggressive Lawyer

It is my privilege to write a review of the Adrian Thomas law firm. I met Adrian under the most unfortunate and distressing times a family can experience. My mother and I were embroiled in very complex, contentious litigation, being represented by a different law firm at the time. The disputes wit...h my siblings began just after our father passed away. There were many lawsuits and counter-claims; rulings, appeals and reversals spanning over a decade. They involved estate planning, wills, irrevocable trusts and real property in two states. Although our parents tried to plan well, their estate documents left enough ambiguity for my siblings to attack with legal argument. My siblings had endless financial means and multiple law firms working tirelessly to achieve their goal of complete control over all of the assets our father and mother created. My mother and I had been represented for over 8 years by another law firm and the litigation was going nowhere. The financial drain was enormous; frustration was high and we were deeply hurt by a fractured family that could never reconcile. I met Adrian and his team, including Danny McDermott, just over two years ago. They listened intently for hours as we described the complexity of the cases. Our case(s) began in civil court with three divisions and different judges; they were later consolidated into probate court. For years we tried to settle, but that was not a realistic option so we interviewed various firms and were impressed by the robust and complete package that this boutique litigation/probate firm offered. Adrian is the mastermind, a director of the symphony of complex legal moving parts. He is a competitive scholar, genuine and compassionate man. He and his office work tirelessly with the highest ethical and professional standards. Danny is a walking and talking encyclopedia of legal facts, dates, numbers and constitutional and case law. He can site any reference, describe any case while senior opposing counsel fumble though stacks of paper in a feeble attempt to counter his legal arguments. His nimble mental gymnastics alongside his aptitude for digital information makes him a formidable opponent. Adrian and Danny have very different skills and expertise that enhance each other’s ability and make for an extraordinary team. To describe the brilliance, talent and dedication of this office would be incomplete unless you have the privilege to work and know this team of dedicated people. Like a lock and key, their coordinated efforts are so smooth, harmonized and effectively executed to accomplish set goals. They methodically work one step at a time, chipping away, frankly at a complete and utter mess with intertwined legal nuances to make any legal expert dizzy, yet that stay focused and fully cognizant of the global strategy. As a master chess player would, Adrian and his team anticipate their opponents’ moves and counter moves. With their wealth of knowledge and experience, they successfully navigate this legal arena composed of a nebulous, conglomerate of personalities, legal opinions always supported by some law just as the opponents opinion is always supported by some other seemingly contradictory law, all moving slower than a garden snail alongside your greatest irritation in life. Remarkably, at the same time, they are able to keep their client informed and act as an anchor during the storm. Their brilliance, knowledge, ability to execute and readjust in real time, in my opinion, is only second to their compassion. Once you lose your family, it is easy to become bitter, skeptical and distrusting of other people. Adrian and Danny restored my trust in the goodness of people and fairness in the legal process. Litigation is an unpredictable and messy business. It is dark, dangerous and a painful place to be. It brings out the worst in humanity. If you find yourself in a legal dispute, Adrian Thomas' office is by far the best team.

Extraordinary, Aggressive, Compassionate Lawyer

My case, while not technically difficult, was a geographic nightmare involving issues in 4 states, and potential and real conflicts-of-interest that ruled out using "local" attorneys. Mr. Thomas quickly and decisively understood all of the issues and advised me extensively bringing both clarity and ...vision to a process I had been completely ignorant about. He personally guided me through the issues and referred me to an attorney whom he knew and respected, and while my case remains in process would have gone nowhere without Mr. Thomas' exceptional knowledge, support, and advice. I would give him a "10" if I could - beyond exceptional!

Excellent Tough Persevering Attorney

My case has been going on for years. Adrian Thomas is a very clear thinking, persevering attorney. He is very knowledgeable with excellent decision-making abilities. My experience with other attorneys in Florida has been less than positive. We were momentarily halted in litigation due to strang...e Florida State legislation and faulty lower court decision-making, but Michelle Thomas handled the appeal, wrote a very cogent argument and won the appeal.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
