I hired Lisa, gave her the $10,000 NON refundable retainer. She was supposed to represent me at my support hearing. My husband's attorney had a lot to say, Lisa said nothing !!! She had all my husbands financials , I ended up with a minimal amount of support, in a rental in a high crime area.....all ...suggestions of my husband and his attorney told the Judge. Even though my husband makes a good living , and I owned 2 homes with him . To think that Lisa had nothing to re buttle with on my behalf, I was in shock . Helen Keller would have been a better choice for an attorney. Stay away ,she acts nice, dresses well, but stinks at defending you. She and her assistant were even were cursing at me in the end she withdrew, before the $10,000 was spent. UGG I had to hire another attorney, one that was not an emotional wreck..BEWARE

Words cannot describe how fantastic Lisa Baird and her legal team, Adara Rodriguez are!! I had a complicated International Divorce/ Custody Battle which she immediately took on and explained the process to me step by step. At the beginning she was very informative and kept me reassured that things will turn out fine. Finally made it to mediation which Lisa recommended a private mediator and I spent $1,000 to come to the conclusion that I ultimately was going to wind up struggling financially and walking away empty hand...ed. Lisa never recommended going to mediation through the court system which only cost $120 and the court system actually work more in my favor than the private mediator did. In total I spent over $9,000 for her to let me know at the half way point of my divorce that she was no longer going to represent me since I began asking for an explanation of why she was not able to follow through with the plan she first drew up for me during my first consolation. I had to find another lawyer to represent me and additionally she charged for every email and every phone call I ever made to her office and her assistant does an exceptionally well job of documenting all those phone calls and emails. Save your time and money.

There were several mistakes made by the attorney during discovery. She did not read the documents and provide valid advice. Her office encouraged phone calls and questions and billed her rate for that of associate who also served as receptionist. During discovery meeting the attorney/receptionsit a...nswered multiple phone calls and was distracted adding to the length of the meeting. During meetings with Ms Baird she answered her cell phone and carried on perosnal conversations. The attorney permited a deposition and went to the depo unprepared and had not reviewed the emplyment contract/documentation provided to her. Instead of trying to resolve amicably she created a more antagonistic situation with opposing counsel.
