My divorce and custody battle was extremely complicated. After numerous times of trying to deal with her attorney alone I decided to reach out to attorney Jorge Gonzalez for assistance. He was very kind, thorough and understanding of the situation. He also provided me his contact information where he can be reached at all times unlike some attorneys who you’ll leave a voicemail for and never get a return phone call for sometimes one or two days which can be very frustrating. After shopping around and consulting with various attorney who specializes in Family Law, I came across an old friend and talked to him about my situation and he immediately metintion that I should use Jorge Gonzalez's services as he had also gone through a nasty paternity and divorce case. He told m...e that he was very straight forward, knew his business and successfully represented him in his divorce and paternity Case. When I scheduled the appointment I was pleased to find out that Mr. Gonzalez oppend on Saturdays in his Hialeah office, it was great since that worked around my crazy work schedule. Anyways, The instance I met Jorge and spoke to him as was pleased to have gone because he was all that I expected and more. Knowledgeable and confident is an understatement, I knew that I wanted him on my side of the court room. My case was very complicated as I had multiple marital properties, children, dogs, boats well you get the picture. All that I can say is that thanks to Jorge everything worked itself out. We filed Served her the law suite and Jorge went on the offensive. I ultimately got what I wanted, shared parental rights of my children, appropriate child support and divided the assets equally and fair. Best of all we never had to go to Trial because my Mr. Gonzalez sat down with my ex-wife's attorney and worked out a reasonable deal. Btw I was surprised and annoyed at these other reviews because they are far from the truth. Makes me wonder who actually wrote them. When I first met Mr. Gonzalez seemed to be interested in my case, to help me....he sounded knowledgeable, experienced, and expensive. I left his office very happy to say the least, I was sure I made the right choice. I never was inform of my case , I had to be calling to his office in order to know ...the court date. The day of our hearing he told me we will get together an hour before the meeting to make sure we are all in the same page, guess what? he showed up 20 minutes late, I thought I was going in by my self....we had to wait for him. During the trial, my ex got very sentimental, his acting was great. I asked Mr. Gonzalez if I too should show my true feelings to the judge, since I was being treat like I was the mean one, he said NO. Mr. Gonzalez was quite most of the time, my ex has no attorney and kicked Mr. Gonzalez kicked his butt, I mean all over the court room. After being all humiliated, embarrassed, he told me these words, "we lost because he did not had a lawyer!!! Sometimes expensive does not mean the best, like in this case. Not only this has caused me to loose an important case in my life, Please, do not hire this attorney if you have an important case to defend.

Before he filed my divorce case I was promised a lot of things, but after I paid his retainer, he did not keep his promises. It was very difficult to reach out to him. On a positive, I must admit that he worked out a great divorce agreement, however, I changed my mind about accepting the divorce a...greement, and he said: " you accept this or I withdraw from the case" Well, I ended firing him, but I still gave him the chance to withdraw from the case, and he did. I did not wanted to be so rude and fire him in our court system. He could have done a much better job, but he didn't. If you are reading this Jorge, you know very well that what I have said here is the whole true.

His way to get me prepared for my alimony case, a super important... event in my life, happened on a phone call, nothing like he said, "we were going to meet and review everything first". If I did not call his office not even that phone call would had happened. The day of our hearing he told me we will get together an hour before the meeting to make sure we are all in the same page, guess what? he showed up 7 minutes late, I thought I was going in by my self....we had to wait for him. Let me add that his office called me to make a payment, it had to be paid before Mr. Gonzalez showed up to court. During the trial, my ex-wife got very sentimental, her acting was great. I asked Mr. Gonzalez if I too should show my true feelings to the judge, since I was being punished for being a good husband and provider, he said NO. Mr. Gonzalez was quite most of the time, my ex-wife's attorney really kicked his butt, I mean all over the court room. After being all humiliated, embarrassed, he told me these words, "we lost because she cried, got very emotional in front of the judge". Sometimes expensive does not mean the best, like in this case. After we lost, that day he wanted me to pay the balance I owed him, another 5 hours, and about $600 to get a copy of the transcript to look for defaults the judge made. Not only this has caused me to loose an important case in my life, but it has depleted me of funds I use for my daily life. I have a strong feeling I could have done a better job defending my self with honesty and more integrity. Please, do not hire this attorney if you have an important case to defend. Alimony reform needs to happen now.
