Philip Kim, Esq., is one of Pensky & Kim’s founding partners. Over the years, he has handled thousands of cases ranging from criminal defense cases (state and federal), to evictions and other landlord/tenant disputes, to personal injury cases. He has tried well over 100 cases and has compiled an impressive trial record.
Mr. Kim is originally from the Philadelphia area. He attended college at the University of Pennsylvania, and then went on to study at the University of Michigan Law School. Over the years, he has worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld, interned for the Department of Justice, and clerked for the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. Upon coming to Miami, he served for three years as Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and then went into private practice with the founding of the Law Office of Philip Kim in Miami Beach. He later co-founded the firm of Pensky & Kim where he has continued to use his legal expertise to fight aggressively on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Kim has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2003 and has no disciplinary history whatsoever.
