There's no way she has a 5 star rating
This attorney will literally drive you crazy as a client. After she takes your retainer, forget about ever talking to her over the phone or email. She will never call you back. If you are lucky enough she will respond to your email inquiries with something totally unrelated making you feel even more ...

Very bad experience with debt negotiation
Jacqueline Salcines was a great disappointment. She was supposed to negotiate a debt I have with Amex, but she just make me waste my time, and I ended up with more problems than when I hired her. I trusted that my problem was being handled by a professional, when I hired her by February. The first tw...
Ms Rojas. I am sorry you are upset at the outcome of this case. You are right that you hired my firm solely to negotiate the debt with American Express. However, I never advised you that I had 30 years experience. That is not correct as evident everywhere in my website and office. I also never made any guarantee as to the debt percentages as you suggest. Rather, I gave you, as I do all clients, an approximate of what the creditor typically settles for. I have been practicing for over 20 years and have significant experience with American Express and their collection practices and patterns. I advised you of this during the consultation and emails thereafter. You are correct that you only hired me to handle the negotiation of the debt outside of court for your unpaid business debt. However when you came to me it had already been months since you had not paid and I was transparent as I am with every client that we handle debt negotiation for when I advise them that our negotiation and communication with them does not stop a lawsuit. The creditor is within their right to start one as soon as you default, which is what happened here. I advised you that I was happy to handle the court litigation defense but there would be additional fees and you wanted it all included in the fee already charged to you which was not fair since there would be substantially more work involved attending court hearings and filing pleadings with the court. I can sympathize with you and the fact that a failed business is always difficult to deal with. And debt left over after a business fails is even more difficult. But I was transparent and honest with you at all times and handled the matter timely and efficiently and obtained a settlement sum from American Express before the suit was filed. You did not want to pay it and thereafter they filed suit. Again I am sorry you did not obtain the outcome you desired and wish you nothing but success in your future businesses.

star only review
I called this office and made an appointment and specifically asked for appointment on a Monday and was given March 19th at 3pm. I drove all the way from Miami Gardens to their office in Coral Gables and the door was locked and the phone went unanswered, I left a recorded message and received a call ...
Ms. Mullaney. Our sincerest apologies for the confusion with your appointment. It was given for Tuesday the 20th which is today, not yesterday. My office as well would have never given an appointment to a potential client knowing I would be in a mediation that was scheduled back in December. We called you immediately to accommodate you the very next day which was the original scheduled appointment. In 19 years practicing I can honestly say I have never missed any client appointment. However by that time you said you did not want one. Again, I am happy to sit down with you at your convenience, even a weekend if your work schedule doesn’t permit, to get your quit claim deed done. and deeply apologize the confusion.

Foreclosure Auction
Very helpful legal assistant, unfortunately the same cant be said about her. She contacted me as her assistant said she would. I explained my issue with the foreclosure property, she said few words and the call dropped. I waited for her to call back, she did not call, so I called her. She apologize...
My sincerest apologies Rodolfo if you felt as if I didn't feel your case was worthy. That was not the case at all. I take every call and potential client very seriously. In fact, although you were never a client, your review left on this forum is a testament to the fact that I answer ALL my calls personally and how my office staff and assistants always locate me to return all calls immediately, as was the case with your matter. In your particular case, I did return your call promptly but was driving and the call dropped. I again tried reaching you, as you state in your review, but was having trouble doing so and thereafter, we were not able to communicate again. The following day I left out of the country with my family on a planned vacation and therefore we were not able to speak. Otherwise, rest assured that I would have tried again. Again my sincerest apologies that I was not able to assist you. I wish you would have called my office to set up a free in person consultation with me upon my return. Or in the alternative, emailed me, as my assistant would have provided you with my email and I could have answered your questions upon receiving it. Nevertheless, I am glad you found legal representation and wish you all the best.

Rental money not reimburse.
When I went to her to explain my situation she said it was a "Slam dunk" (Those were her exact words)and that I was going to get my money back but this was all to get my money and things were compltely different after the check was cashed. I should had known this because one of the times I was in her...
Mr. Marquez, I respectfully disagree with your comments. You hired me to file a lawsuit for monies owed against Ms. Belkova and in that respect under case number 2010-13499 SP 05 I was 100% successful. In less than 3 months I obtained a final judgment against her and in your favor, winning the case. Plus I won an award of attorney's fees and costs in your favor for you as well. There is no debtors prison in the United States however, and the laws of the United States do not permit a Judge to force a Defendant to pay when they have lost a case. You believed that by winning a judgment, she would be forced to write you a check, and that is not the case. As I advised you when the case was won, you would need to hire an attorney that performs post judgment collections as we do not do that kind of work. I am sorry if you do not feel vindicated since the Defendant did not pay you, however, we were 100% successful in what my firm was hired to do. I wish you all the best
