Erik S Kardatzke

I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and have lived in Miami for the past nineteen years. After earning my degree from Wichita State University in International Business, I went on to obtain an MBA in International Management from the prestigious Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. After several years in the business world, I earned my law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005.

It is my goal to see each and every individual treated fairly and respectfully by credit card companies and their attorneys. Don’t let them take advantage of you, intimidate you, or confuse you with legal trickery. A knowledgeable consumer rights attorney will level the playing field.

I am a dedicated consumers rights attorney, and in my practice I focus exclusively on consumer law. I defend individuals from debt collectors, credit card companies, and their attorneys, and specializes in debt collector harassment in violation of the FDCPA.

Prior to establishing Debt Defense Law, I worked as a debt collection attorney for one of the larger debt collection firms in Florida, and litigated thousands of cases as a representative of several well-known credit card companies. Now, I am honored to defend individuals, who in my opinion, are being preyed upon by collection agencies.

I am a member of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys (NACA), and the Florida Bar Association. I am licensed to practice in the Southern District of Florida. I practice exclusively in credit card lawsuit defense, and collector harassment FDCPA & FCCPA violations.
