also known as Alicia N. Ray, Alicia N. Morgan
Mrs. Alicia Morgan, the founder of Immigration Lawyers USA LLC, is the great-granddaughter of Irish and German immigrants and a first-generation attorney from a humble, middle-class family in Kentucky. Ms. Morgan obtained her law license in the state of Kentucky, and she currently zealously represents immigrants in all 50 states and around the globe practicing all areas of federal immigration and nationality law. Mrs. Morgan enjoys representing her clients in complex family-based applications; unlawful presence, crime and fraud waivers; removal defense, including cancellation of removal for non-legal permanent residents and for legal permanent residents, asylum, adjustment of status and prosecutorial discretion; U visa, VAWA, TPS, DACA applications; naturalization cases, and employment-based applications.
A woman with a “Latin heart,” Mrs. Morgan is fluent in Spanish and English and conversational in Portuguese. Even though neither of her parents had finished more than an Associate’s Degree, Mrs. Morgan decided at 13 years old that she wanted to be a lawyer because she wanted to help people, and she knew the clients she wanted to serve would be immigrants as soon as she started learning Spanish at 15 years old. She graduated at the top of her high school class with a perfect 4.0 G.P.A., eager to change the world. She went on to earn a double Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Print Journalism at Murray State University in Kentucky for her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude and twice winning awards for being the Best Spanish Student in the Modern Language Department. Finally, Mrs. Morgan earned her Juris Doctor in 2009 from West Virginia University College of Law, where she helped clients as a WVU Immigration Law Clinic student attorney and the International Law Student Association vice president. She lived in Kentucky and Texas before settling down in beautiful Miami, Florida, where she loves serving her clients from all nationalities. Mrs. Morgan takes pride in providing individualized service and maintaining a high success rate.
Mrs. Morgan is an active member of the South Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she serves as the Vice Chair for the Continuing Legal Education committee and a member of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, and she has previously served on the New Members Division committee as well as the American Immigration Counsel committee. Additionally, she serves as a chairperson on the Young Lawyers Division of the Immigration Law Section of the Federal Bar Association. Ms. Morgan gives back to her community by serving as a Volunteer Attorney for the Bridge Immigration Ministry and regularly serving Miami residents with her church family, Christ Fellowship.
