Elizabeth Marie MacDonald Hughes

Elizabeth Hughes, a Florida native, concentrates her practice on probate estate administration and litigation, guardianship proceedings and litigation, and mental health proceedings.

Ms. Hughes obtained her B.S. in Health Sciences and Rehabilitative Services with a minor in Psychology from the University of Florida. Ms. Hughes then obtained her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.

During law school Ms. Hughes worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Stephen T. Brown, Chief Magistrate Judge at the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida.

After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012, Hughes worked as a staff attorney case manager for the Probate Division of the Eleventh Circuit of Florida for the Honorable Judge Maria Korvick and the Honorable Judge Celeste Muir.

Prior to starting her own practice, Hughes practiced as an associate at the Bryant Law Firm representing clients in all aspects of probate, guardianship, and litigation proceedings.
