Biography
A founder of Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa, Attorney Robert D. Orshan focuses his practice on family, divorce, and matrimonial law, including but not limited to child custody, child support, alimony, modifications, paternity, and appellate law. He has been recognized as a premier family law attorney in Florida and has extensive experience litigating before state courts and resolving cases through mediation.
Mr. Orshan earned his B.A. from Tulane University and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980 and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1981. He is active in the legal community and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, Florida First Family Law American Inn of Court, Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and the Collaborative Family Law Institute.
