Mr. Briggs took a denied claim and turned it in to a positive with a 100% success. My insurance company had denied damages from Hurricane Irma and Mr. Briggs took the claim to the end with a settlement that I never thought to see. My thanks to him and Morgan and Morgan for their services.

"As a Partner at Ferrell Schultz, I watched Edson as a young litigation attorney. He has grown and matured as a lawyer and now a husband and father of 2 children. Time flies. He has the highest ethics, including an old fashioned work ethic that puts the needs of his clients above his own."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
