Biography
Marcia earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Barnard College of Columbia
University in New York City. She graduated with academic honors and immediately
upon graduation began her legal studies. She earned her Jurist Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, graduating early in only two and a half years.
LEGAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to graduation, she was hired by the Miami Dade Public Defender’s office, one of the busiest and most competitive public defender’s offices in the nation. After five years, she moved on to work in the private sector for two nationally recognized law firms.
In 2010 she opened her own law firm where she has represented hundreds of individuals and corporations earning numerous accolades and peer recognition for her work including several nominations by the Judicial Nominating Commission of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court for different judicial appointments; an AV Rating from Martin Dale Hubbell; a 10 AVVO rating; Legal Elite Florida Trend awards; and an appointment by the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court as a traffic magistrate.
As the owner of the Immigration Law Center, Marcia has represented numerous clients world-wide seeking visas and green cards through investment, employment and familial relationships. As a second generation Chilean and third generation Italian, Marcia is multi-lingual with fluency in English, Spanish and a working knowledge of French and Italian. With a high rate of success, the majority of her clients stem from past client referrals whose legal journey to the United States was made possible through Marcia’s strategic planning and dedication to each and every client.
BEYOND THE BRIEF
Marcia lives in Coral Gables with her husband and two children. Her favorite past times include spending time with her family, playing tennis, and traveling. A devout Catholic, she attributes her success to God and remains thankful to Him for allowing her to represent each and every client who seek her help in making the American dream a reality.
