For over thirty years, I have been an insurance coverage attorney. I have seen the court's perspective working as a judge's law clerk, learned the insurer side of the business working on large corporate coverage disputes for a national counsel firm in Washington, DC, and since 1997 I have been an advocate for policyholders in Florida. In that capacity, I have represented large corporations to small businesses, condominium associations and real estate developers, as well as numerous individuals. I lived for 8 years on a power boat and have raced both small and ocean-racing sailboats, and in addition to the standard business and personal coverages, I have a great deal of experience with yacht insurance claims as well as claims related to marine industry businesses.
My goal for every client is to get that client's claim paid and to recover the client's fees whenever possible.
