This attorney is not registered with the Florida Bar. She just cheats people by working in Florida illegally

What you can read below may save you a lot of money, and possibly your life. I hired Ekaterina Mouratova to represent my Immigration Case in front of Orlando Immigration Court about a year ago. The contract she provided was sign by me and full amount of money was paid. After reviewing my case, she to...ld me that my case was simple and clear and that the US authorities would not deport me from the US and that I should not worry about anything. No any advise of my case I got from the lawyer and NO any document that I sent to her was provided by her to the immigration court. On the scheduled day of my individual immigration hearing on September 21, 2022, she did NOT appear in the Orlando immigration court without any warning to me or notice. Not only did she leave me without money and without a lawyer in court, but because she did not submit my documents to the court in a timely manner, now my court hearing has been postponed for an UNDETERMINATED TIME. Huge losses and inconveniences have been caused to me by this lawyer and to my entire family because of her actions. The judge also told me that this lawyer was not registered with the court as my representative. However, more than a month before the date of the trial (August 08, 2022), she informed me by e-mail that she had received from me all the documents necessary for the trial. This means that she deliberately deceived me. Florida Bar told me that Ekaterina Mouratova is not registered with them and is not authorized to work as a lawyer in Florida. However, she continues to advertise here and on Google as a Florida lawyer. I'm not sure that somehow I get compensation for the losses because of this American lawyer. Be especially careful!

Dear Andrew, all your statements are simply untrue and have nothing to do with reality, except the one that I am not a member of Florida Bar. I am a member of New York Bar. I practice immigration law in Florida, which is federal law. Attorneys licensed in any U.S. state can practice federal laws across the country. Fortunately, Avvo checks attorneys' licenses before creating their profiles on this platform. So, you statements that I am not authorized to work as a lawyer in Florida are false as well. I saw you left very derogatory reviews to other attorneys who tried to work on your legal matter before me. I cannot imagine your motivation for trying to damage other people's practices and reputation for no apparent reason. I wish you and whomever happens to be your next representative will have better experience working with each other.

turned to Ekaterina on the issue of status change. Everything went well, all the obligations undertaken by Ekaterina fulfilled on time. She is also always in touch and she will consult you regardless of the time of day and her location. in one word - I recommend to all who need a lawyer !!!!
