I had only used an attorney one time in my life prior to this and it was not a pleasant experience. So I was very nervous about having to hire another, but I had to. I was referred to Attorney Scott Brook for a divorce after 27 years of marriage and from the first phone call to the last I felt like... my problem was important. Everyone from the front desk to the assistances to the attorneys were so kind and concerned for my problem. If I had a question via a phone call or email I got a response in a very timely manner. 3 years after handling my divorce I had so much trust in this firm that I returned. I had to re-modify my divorce agreement for my children sake. Attorney Brook new how upset I was regarding and worked so very hard for me and my kids. Scott is a very soft spoken, very polite, meek, and humble man when he is speaking to you, but when he went before the judge and opposing counsel and fought for my children he was very self confident, very sure of his case and himself. I won't say I wasn't scared going in there but when I saw and heard Attorney Brook's in the judges chambers all my fears were gone. I would certainly refer Attorney Scott Brook to others. I have used Scott's services twice. First I had to amend a parenting plan then had to petition for a relocation. This wasn't exactly anything I had experience with but learned that the following makes all the difference in the world when you are going through this and what to look for in an lawyer: ... 1. Experience. I am an example kind of person and Scott was able to give me various scenarios which he had experience with to help guide me through the process. He was very confident that although my situation was unique that he had the background to help me prevail. His solutions were creative at times but they totally worked and you can only do that if you've been through a lot. 2. Communication. Both times I was able to communicate with him freely and truly felt that he listened and came up with great solutions to both of my situations. All of my calls and e-mails were responded to promptly and thoroughly. They guide you through the entire process and always show an incredible amount of patience and professionalism. I had a lot of questions! 3. Friendliness: Everyone in the office gives you that same vibe and that was very important to me because the situation is stressful enough. Anything involving a family is going to be challenging but Scott and his team really know what they're doing. I could not be happier with the way my relocation was settled and I don't wish for anyone to have to go through what I had to go through but I wouldn't recommend anyone else besides him!
