Lower rate does not mean cheaper cost or better outcome
The legal strategies Penny guided us to were ineffectual, expensive, and not what industry would consider best practice. The court orders she attained were poorly worded and often became very expensive useless papers. I often felt as if she would talk in circles to extend duration of meetings and pho...

Penny really cares for her clients!
I was in a nasty custody battle with my ex-wife this past summer. After speaking with Penny, I knew she was the attorney for me. She is very detailed oriented and professional at all times. When we met in person for the first time, she listened to my issues and advise me of all possible outcome of ...

Amazing Attorney
Penny helped me gain parental rights and time sharing over my daughter. She made a very difficult time in my life so much easier. She was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and really went the extra mile. She explained every step of the process continuously and was always there to answer any question...

Do yourself a favor go elsewhere
I am well versed with attorneys, I have retained or been assigned over 7 lawyers for various legal matters. She made a horrible mistake, after I requested her as my attorney, she ask my ex-wife at her office if she wants to do mediation. In no uncertain terms did I ever mention this to her on our nu...
This person came to my office with his ex-Wife for a free initial consultation. When this person indicated, just minutes before our meeting, that his ex-Wife would be attending the consultation as well, I explained to him that his ex-Wife should not come to the initial consultation where he would be receiving legal advise on a case where she would be the opposing party. Thus, when he showed up with his ex-Wife, against my advice, and both of them walked back to my office to discuss the case, I explained the options of litigation vs. mediation. After hearing about both processes in length (including the pros and cons of both processes), he DECIDED that mediation was a better option for him. In fact, before he made this choice, he even asked me to leave the room while he discussed the option with his ex-Wife. The mediation, as public records would reveal, resulted in a settlement of the entire case, saving this person a lot of money, time, and stress. Prior to starting the mediation process, this person was well aware of the option to hire me as a lawyer instead and had plenty of opportunity to make this decision. HE OPTED FOR MEDIATION, NOT ME! I merely provided him with the ability to choose what method he wished to take for his case. Most clients appreciate being fully advised of their options. I ask that you review all my positive ratings below, which are a better representation of the quality of service I provide my clients. With regard to me answering my own phone, there is an office receptionist who answers the phones when I am in court. However, I prefer to answer my own phone when I am in the office. Further, I often provide my cellular phone number, which is what this person had, and of course, I answer my own cellular phone number. I take great exception to his libelous statement that I probably don't remember who I talk to and about what. Again I ask you review all the positive reviews below that show this to be a complete falsehood. I take great care of my clients and they get the personal attention they deserve. The one-on-one attention I provide my clients is appreciated by most.
"I endorse this lawyer.. Penny is a remarkable Guardian Ad Litem. She is honest, neutral and always does what is best for the children. If you need a Guardian Ad Litem, Penny is always one of my top choices and she’s equally zealous and ethical in her practice, too."
"Penny is honestly one of the hardest working attorneys I know. She's constantly and consistently talking to clients and solving problems. Especially in the realm of family law, she is a Firefighter. She also looks for the most productive outcome for the client and if there is children, the children."
"I endorse this lawyer.I have worked closely with her on several occasions. She is a professional that is well respected in the legal community and by my staff."
"I endorse this lawyer. Ms. Taylor-Miller offers very sound, thorough and real world advice to Avvo questioners. I consider her an exceptional family law attorney and would have no reservation referring a client needing her services in the Fort Lauderdale area."
"Ms. Taylor-Miller has worked for me for over ten years (first as a paralegal before going to law school, and now as an associate attorney). She has always had wonderful reviews from our clients and I would recommend her for any family law matter."
