Biography
Attorney David Magilligan opened his own criminal defense law firm to provide people from all walks of life with high-quality, affordable legal counsel. After graduating from law school, he worked as an assistant state attorney in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. In that role, he witnessed more people receiving poor criminal defense representation from disengaged lawyers than he’d like to admit. At the core, he seeks to provide client-focused criminal defense with an emphasis on clear communication and finding the most effective and practical solution in every case. He works directly with clients from the initial consultation through the resolution of the case. He is accessible and returns all messages within 24 hours. He invests a great deal of time early in the case helping each client understand the options and objectives of each client and present a realistic assessment of how the case may play out.
