I wish I can provide more than a 5 star rating. I was going through a very complicated family court case with my ex. She finds any excuse to be back in court with a petition. I hired Greg during a very tough time for me. He worked with me every single step of the way. He was constantly following up ...with me about my case. He is extremely efficient, knowledgeable, professional, honest and fair but a beast in court!! I'm very much satisfied with his counsel and his team in the front office they are truly the best!!

I contacted Greg to help me decide what was the best way for me to pursue an arrangement w/my ex husband to best take care of kids during the pandemic and virtual schooling. He studied my case and got back to me the next day and offered options. I studied my options and felt Greg was very open and ho...nest and gave me realistic scenarios. I appreciated that he was not in it to get $$$ but really to counsel me on the best way to resolve my issue. I would highly recommend him.

I am writing on behalf of Gregory F. Betancourt, as he has represented me for a post-divorce case. He came highly recommended by a friend that happens to work in the legal industry, and said that he was very much respected amongst his peers and judges. I later witnessed this myself, as we had very di...fficult judges along the course of my case. Mr. Betancourt took me in as a client, even when a previous attorney made grave errors with my case. From the initial consultation he was able to decipher, simplify/organize and strategize the best possible results. As a true leader, his morals and ethics are aligned with his firm and that of his support team and staff, as it reflected in different interactions throughout the case. He prioritized matters and always consulted me first to confirm that I was always comfortable with the outcome; he involved me in every decision, all while keeping things in perspective with time frames and real results. He has demonstrated to be an experienced professional that can handle anything that comes his way with strength, dignity, compassion and most importantly to me, a sense of humor mixed the highest emotional intelligence and wit. Not only was he my attorney, but represented so much more, especially with painful issues with my ex-husband regarding my daughters. His knowledge in psychology and training as a Guardian Ad Litem really came in handy to ease a lot of tense and emotional moments. His advice and forecast calmed me through the most difficult moments. Only someone with such experience can offer this level of assurance. He goes above and beyond the realm of regular business hours and is extremely dedicated to the best interest of his clients and their children, no matter what. I highly recommend Mr. Betancourt, as he is solution driven, a strong advocate for fairness, and his expertise is what you need when looking for someone to defend your rights. Excellent representation of someone “having your back”. My only regret is not finding him during my dissolution, he would have saved me a lot of heartache, time and money. I am eternally grateful to Mr. Betancourt.

So many unanswered emails and phone calls. Leaving voicemails to his secretaries seem to give you hope but when secretaries stop answering emails, you have to wonder. During one instance specifically, having had to reschedule a phone conference 3 times, I called for my phone conference only to be put... on hold for another 10 minutes. About a year prior, mid conversation Mr. Betancourt hung up the phone on me stating his alarm at his house went off. After hiring another attorney to represent me, he pointed out many of the oversights Mr. Betancourt should have consulted with me about. During an emergency hearing, proper paperwork wasn't filed on Mr. Betancourt's behalf which impacted the outcome. Mr. Betancourt was also late to mediation between my child's father and opposing counsel.

Bentancourt was unreachable (all the time). I was able to reach him 2 dys prior to court and at that time he had not spoke to any witnesses or myself to prep for my case. I would have lost my case if he had not made an excuse to the judge and requested an extension. He lied to me on a few occasions r...egarding my case. He told me he sent efilings but never did. I paid double for subpoenas that were sent 2 dys before my court date (after telling me they had been sent almost 2 wks prior). He even charged me for work that he did not do (i.e. efilings, speaking to witnesses, etc). He charged me for times we did not speak. If i spoke to him on the phone for less than 10mins, he charged me for 30+ mins (i documented everything). I would NEVER recommend Bentancourt to anyone. Worst experience and waste of my money/time.
