I'm willing to guarantee that this bum attorney's favorable posts on this thread are self-generated!! He is as sly as they come!! He's very good with the bait and switch tactic. He will lure you in and then tricks you. He will not work for the client and will do the bare minimum and charge th...e largest amount possible!! His middle name "FIDEL" says it all!! DO NOT HIRE!

I am writing on behalf of Gregory F. Betancourt, as he has represented me for a post-divorce case. He came highly recommended by a friend that happens to work in the legal industry, and said that he was very much respected amongst his peers and judges. I later witnessed this myself, as we had very di...fficult judges along the course of my case. Mr. Betancourt took me in as a client, even when a previous attorney made grave errors with my case. From the initial consultation he was able to decipher, simplify/organize and strategize the best possible results. As a true leader, his morals and ethics are aligned with his firm and that of his support team and staff, as it reflected in different interactions throughout the case. He prioritized matters and always consulted me first to confirm that I was always comfortable with the outcome; he involved me in every decision, all while keeping things in perspective with time frames and real results. He has demonstrated to be an experienced professional that can handle anything that comes his way with strength, dignity, compassion and most importantly to me, a sense of humor mixed the highest emotional intelligence and wit. Not only was he my attorney, but represented so much more, especially with painful issues with my ex-husband regarding my daughters. His knowledge in psychology and training as a Guardian Ad Litem really came in handy to ease a lot of tense and emotional moments. His advice and forecast calmed me through the most difficult moments. Only someone with such experience can offer this level of assurance. He goes above and beyond the realm of regular business hours and is extremely dedicated to the best interest of his clients and their children, no matter what. I highly recommend Mr. Betancourt, as he is solution driven, a strong advocate for fairness, and his expertise is what you need when looking for someone to defend your rights. Excellent representation of someone “having your back”. My only regret is not finding him during my dissolution, he would have saved me a lot of heartache, time and money. I am eternally grateful to Mr. Betancourt.

Gregg knows his stuff, you may not agree with him and you can tell him straight to his face, but when all is said and done he will have your best interests at heart and will never ever tell you I told you so. After my divorce and later child relocation trial, I think he had more tears in his eyes th...an I did with his triumph over apposing council. I cannot say enough. You truly get what you pay for and he is reasonable.

Bentancourt was unreachable (all the time). I was able to reach him 2 dys prior to court and at that time he had not spoke to any witnesses or myself to prep for my case. I would have lost my case if he had not made an excuse to the judge and requested an extension. He lied to me on a few occasions r...egarding my case. He told me he sent efilings but never did. I paid double for subpoenas that were sent 2 dys before my court date (after telling me they had been sent almost 2 wks prior). He even charged me for work that he did not do (i.e. efilings, speaking to witnesses, etc). He charged me for times we did not speak. If i spoke to him on the phone for less than 10mins, he charged me for 30+ mins (i documented everything). I would NEVER recommend Bentancourt to anyone. Worst experience and waste of my money/time.

Greg is an excellent and ethical lawyer who helped me through some very difficult times battling my ex for child support, alimony and custody arrangements. My ex hired an impossible lawyer to work with who only wanted to litigate since my ex continued to pay his fees. Greg was able to cut through a...ll the nonsense to deal with the crucial issues to resolve my case as quickly as possible and kept my legal fees at a minimum. Greg knows his way around the courthouse and is well respected by the judges too. As my case progressed, Greg was able to help me see the bigger picture and his advice as to my next steps was always spot on. I was also able to see him in court arguing my case and questioning witnesses and was very impressed with how he handled himself and the issues. Most importantly, Greg was available to me in the crucial moments when I needed him regarding time sharing and provided a calming voice and advice when things were chaotic. If you want a great lawyer you can count on to give you good advice and can stand up to any lawyer on the other side then Greg is the attorney for you.
