Trustworthy Lawyer in the MIA!

I used Mr. Rodriguez for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy about 5 years ago. At the time, I was in extreme debt and was unable to pay for my home. I was very nervous because I had never been in such a situation, but he was so kind and made me feel comfortable. I was able to eliminate all my credit card debt an...d get back on track with my mortgage payments. Needless to say, I am very happy with his service and have recommended him to many of my friends who are also happy with his service.

Great Lawyer and Even Better Human Being

I have met a number of lawyers, some of them good some of them bad, and one great human being called Ricardo Rodriguez. He has a unique straight forward approach which honestly tells you exactly where you are and what can be achieved, as well as risks and opportunities regarding the case. No empty pr...omises, no BS. He takes things personally and strives for excellence. He answers phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. He treated me like family. I hired Mr. Rodríguez to file for Chapter 7 protection in order to end a horrendous lawsuit that was eating me alive. Rather than filing for bankruptcy, he gave it a chance to settle and worked with me as well as opposing counsel. An agreement was reached and I was able to end a 4 year old feud that was sucking the life away from me without bankruptcy. My family and I are very grateful to him.

Life saver attorney.

I hired Ricardo A Rodriguez to represent me with a chapter 13 bankruptcy, and he did an outstanding job. I owed more the $280,000 in credit card debts and about $500,000 in mortgages including money owed to a condominium association. Mr. Rodriguez was able to eliminate the second mortgage and ...lien on my condo and allowed me to obtain a discharge of all my debts while only paying back a fraction of what I owed. Ricardo A Rodriguez cares about his clients and goes that extra mile for them. I would highly recommend him and have recommended many other clients to him who have also received the same high quality service.

Very rude and expensive

My home is going to be sold in foreclosure. This attorney had been one of the many that had written me a letter offering a free consultation and multiple ways to avoid losing my home through the filing of either bankruptcy chapter 7 or chapter 13. After consulting with my current foreclosure attorney..., she suggested I give him a call out of all of the other attorneys that had written me because it was stated he could help me keep my property and because she does not do bankruptcies. Since my sale is very soon and he is very far from where I live, as well as the fact I work long hours, I wanted to explain my case over the phone. He didn't even let me finish explaining my case or why I was calling ,he interrupted me by saying" I am not interested in what you are saying and why are you telling me all of this, lady?". Needless to say, I was shocked at how cocky and arrogant and unprofessional this person was. Especially since HE had written ME offering his services. The conversation obviously went downhill from there since I do not take kindly to rude people, more so if I'm going to be the one paying HIM.He would not even let me talk, kept interrupting me in his usual impolite manner so I asked how much he would charge for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy and he answered "VERY expensive, I don't think you can afford me". He said $3500 for hiring him, $2500 for the loan modification plus extra expenses. In my opinion, this is not only a shady ,unprofessional and rude way to deal with a prospective client (we had not discussed my financial situation nor did he know if I could or could not afford him), but a huge red flag on how anyone that hires him will be treated down the road. Foreclosures and bankruptcies are stressful enough without having to deal with an attorney who treats you ,the client, with zero respect. My advice to others looking for legal assistance is to not even call this unprofessional and rude person. If this is how he acts when he's trying to sell you his services, I wonder how he acts when you've already given him your money. No thank you, I will take my business elsewhere where I am treated with respect.
