Maria Vaeth Henderson

I had a complex family law case which started in 2011 and ended in 2014 after using 2 other well respected attorneys and 3 mediators in Brevard County. I went through 9 temporary relief hearings and hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees from other attorneys. Maria is by far the best family law attorney in Brevard. Prior to hiring Maria for my divorce I had already used three different family law attorneys, who did absolutely nothing for me. Maria immediately filed a motion for temporary relief and got me a hearing rather quickly. My previous three attorn...eys never even mentioned filing a motion like this. She also filed motions to compel and forced my ex to turn over financial documents. Maria did more for me in three months than the other three attorneys combined did in 2 and half years. She is smart, compassionate, and three steps ahead of the other side. I VERY HIGHLY recommend her as an attorney.

Maria is an awesome attorney. She represented me on my divorce. I had another attorney, but was not happy with him. Maria took my case over and was extremely proactive. I was very impressed with how smart she was. In court she was very quick on her feet and completely outmaneuvered my ex's attorney.... She had a good rapport with the judge and even the deputies. Maria represented me on my divorce and she was awesome. I had another attorney and was not happy with him, so I began looking at hiring a new attorney. My initial consultation with Maria was free and she spent almost an hour with me. I was so impressed I retained her that same day. Since my first... attorney had only filed an answer, Maria immediately filed a counter-petition to my ex's petition. After mediation she filed a motion for temporary relief and I was able to see and have my kids overnight on a regular basis, which was very important to me. When my ex refused to turn over financial documents, Maria was on top of it and filed motions, which resulted in my ex having to turn over those documents to her. I was hopeful my case would not have to go to trial, but fortunately Maria never stopped preparing the case for a possible trial. My ex was unreasonable, even when I agreed to most of his terms. In the end, we had no choice but to go to trial. Maria was prepared, relentless, and did not miss a thing. I came out way ahead of what I was originally agreeing to, including more timesharing, alimony, child support, and half of my ex's retirement. If you need a family law attorney then hire Maria. Maria represented me on a child support and contempt issue. I hired her because my ex-husband was failing to pay me my child support and was constantly keeping my child on my days. Maria immediately filed a motion for contempt and was able to get me a hearing date very quickly. Although I was very... nervous about the hearing as I had to testify, Maria made me feel very calm. Maria questioned me in the hearing and my confidence rose. When my ex's attorney began to question me I became nervous, but Maria objected to many of the ridiculous questions my ex's attorney was asking of me and the judge agreed. I felt so confident knowing she was right there protecting me. When Maria questioned my ex-husband my jaw literally dropped. She was like a bulldog. She was very professional but was able to completely show the judge that my ex was not being truthful. The judge ruled in our favor and not only did the judge order all the back child support be deducted from my ex's paycheck, but she also got it where my ex had to pay my attorneys fees.
