Arrogance does not follow up. Broke promises of a site for your case. Lied about broker leaving town but had hired his legal assistant. When realtor skip town, but assistant is working there. Directs to another realator that has no experience within the area. States he can make appointments to see y...
Ms. Jones, I am sorry you had a bad experience during your short-sale. It can be a very stressful process. I apologize for any part I had in that dissatisfaction. However, I believe there is some confusion about your case. I'm not sure what you mean about me lying about your realtor leaving town. I have no business relationship with your realtor or any control over his practices. I do not know what your relationship with him was or what he did or did not do. He/She was not MY realtor. He/She was YOUR realtor. I did later hire a legal assistant who used to work for a realtor in town after that realtor closed his practice, but that was because she was very highly qualified in short-sales and did a tremendous work for clients. There is a limited number of people in Brevard with significant short-sale experience. She was one of them. It would be unfair to condemn her because of the practices of her former employer. My role in your case was to defend the foreclosure action that the bank filed. We did so successfully, which allowed your realtor time to complete the short-sale. Had we not defended the foreclosure, which is what I was retained to do, there is a good chance the bank would have sold your home at auction and not given you the chance to short-sell the home. As you state above, we kept the bank from foreclosing for 2 years! The total fee for that two years was $2,250, including the retainer and follow-up consults you mentioned. I don't know any other attorney that would have done the same work over such a long period of time for that fee. Again, I'm sorry you were not satisfied, but we held off the bank for two years, your home was sold and, I suspect, your loan deficiency was waived as a direct result of our representation. I don't think there was much else I or anyone else could do. I hope this clears up at least some of the issues you may have had and you understand that your realtor and I are two separate people with two separate businesses. We are not responsible for each others' work or practices. I'm happy your short-sale was completed and you can move on from this stressful period in your life. Best Regards, Beau

I knew it....I hope ears are perking up now and see I'm not the only one with this claim!
Seeing the previous review I couldn't believe what I was reading...This is exactly what happened to us. I said those exact words to Mr. Bowin about dropping the ball in our case. Anyone who is even considering hiring this firm for a foreclosure case please do your research. I have a full binder of th...
Stephanie, I know this was posted anonymously, but based on your comments I know its you. I will not get into the details of your case, because client confidentiallity precludes me from divulging too much, even to defend myself against these types of negative comments. Suffice it to say, we did in fact get a modification of your mortgage and I advised you that it was your best chance of saving your home. I advised you that if you did not take the modification, you would not get another offer and you would lose your home. You chose to reject my advice and reject the modification. I understand you wanted something better. I may have wanted something better too. The problem is that it's not my call. I can't force the bank to give you anything better than the offer they gave you. After you rejected the offer, the bank had no choice but to continue the foreclosure action. They were entitled to their judgment, and nothing could be done to stop the sale. After the judgment, we had no grounds to stop the sale. We could have charged you to try, but that would done nothing but put money in my pocket. Despite your comments above, I am not in the business of taking client's money for something I cannot reasonably accomplish. The firm you hired to "stop the mess" was KEL. I'm sure you paid them a pretty penny, but ultimately they couldn't stop the sale. The Judge denied their motion to cancel the sale, which is exactly what any ethical attorney would have advised you was going to happen at the outset, instead of charging you thousands of dollars. I have done nothing but give you the best advice I can to save your home. I understand you did not want to take my advice, and that you wanted something better, but that was not my call. There was nothing more I(or anyone) could do for you. By the way, since you suggest to other clients to review us before hiring us, you should do the same with regards to KEL. Just type KEL into your Google browser. Then maybe you will see that I was the only one advising you in your best interest, while someone else was trying to talk you into paying thousands of dollars for something they should have known they couldn't accomplish. I welcome anyone to research my track record. I've counseled more than 4,000 Brevard Families regarding their financial difficulties. Except for your post and 1 other (which may also be you), I've had no bad reviews! Compare that to any other attorney anywhere with the same number of representations, and my record will speak for itself. We get more modifications and short-sales than any other firm in town. You won't find any law office that cares more about their clients than we do. I sincerely wish you the best for you and your family. I'm sorry things didn't work out the way you hoped, but rest assured I did the best I could and advised you in your best interest. Beau
"I have known Beau Bowin for over a decade, and I had the privilege of working with him early in his career. Beau is a brilliant attorney who relates well to clients and other attorneys because of his straight-forward, down-to-earth approach."
"Beau Bowin is the go-to guy for Bankruptcy and Foreclosure cases in Brevard County. He and his entire firm provides top notch representation and compassionate service to his clients. I can't recommend him enough!"
"I witnessed Beau Bowin effectively represent a client in a foreclosure trial and win. Many litigators avoid appeals because they are not well versed in appellate procedures. Beau is also not afraid to appeal, which is an essential element in effective foreclosure litigation."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Bowin is well known for his extensive knowledge in the Foreclosure field. He fights for his clients with competence and persistence."
"Beau has established himself as an excellent bamkruptcy and foreclosure defense lawyer. He has an excellent reputation in the legal community."
"I highly recommend Mr. Bowin. He is a true gentleman and a scholar. His legal knowledge and zeal are beyond reproach."
"I endorse this lawyer. Any business looking for a bankruptcy attorney with experience and knowledge in the field should consult with Mr. Bowin. His firm is my first choice for client referrals in this complex area of practice."
"Mr. Bowin practices law with the characteristics that are taught in law school, but are often neglected after an attorney has started practicing. As an advocate for his clients, Mr. Bowin is tenacious, yet professional. He is compassionate and understanding, yet provides an honest assessment of the situation. I endorse Mr. Bowin as an attorney for bankruptcy, foreclosure, and debt-related proceedings, and am proud to call him a colleague and friend."
