Heather M Barry

I grew up in Napa Valley, California as the youngest of three children. I pursued many interests including Girl Scouts, dance, music, baseball and gymnastics. In high school I participated in Air Force ROTC, campus leadership and had the privilege to serve as a prosecutor in my government class mock trial where I first got my first exposure to law.

I moved to Orlando, Florida in 2004 for my undergraduate studies where I majored in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University and minored in Recording Arts.  I graduated with honors in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Entertainment Business and an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts. During my bachelor degree program I took several law courses and developed a passion for the legal profession and instantly decided to further my educational pursuits.

I attended Florida A&M University College of Law, graduating in 2011 with a Juris Doctorate Degree. During her tenure I served as the Vice President of Arts for the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Society and a member of Phi Alpha Delta. I participated in the drafting and presentation of proposed legislation to two Florida State legislators in the House of Representatives in 2010. In 2012 I started my own law practice and developed a heart for guardianship and elder issues. In February 2015 I joined Mark & Brown, P.A. to expand my skills and potential to serve the Central Florida community. 

I am an active member of the Central Florida community through the Osceola Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Bar and as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA). I am also a  member and volunteer of Central Florida Community Arts (a non-profit organization), choir member and challenge leader in my local church.
